Place the inner lining tube inside the brass tube, melt a collar with a cigarette lighter to the thicker end and push in the hook mounting tube

Tie in a bunch of nutria beaver to the groove

Tie in a pair of 'claws' made out of stripped cock hackles, tips unstripped and finished as shown above

Tie in silver ribbing to the undeside and prepare the dubbing

Wind the dubbing forward and tie in a to the front hackle from its stem

Wind the hackle towards the rear and secure with the silver tinsel by winding towards the head in reverse direction to the hackle. Secure the ribbong tinsel and cut off excess.

Brush the dubbing to enhance lifelike presentation

Finally tie in a bunch of nutria beaver right to the front

Whip finish, apply few drops of superglue and attache the conehead. Leave approx 2mm of the inner lining tube and melt a collar against conehead to secure it.
